Liz commented on my Pumpkin Bread and recommended this recipe on Post Punk Kitchen for making pumpkin brownies. I tried it out last night and it is really excellent! Definitely one to make again. Thanks Liz!
I think I ever so slightly over did it on the molasses but that was due to my excitement about using molasses for the first time. Molasses is hard to find here, I eventually tracked a jar down in the health food shop. Oh yes and I managed to find canned pumpkin from Ocado which must be where I found it before, I got 4 cans this time.
I hear molasses is almost the same as our treacle, and it does taste the same. Our treacle has the best tin though.
See! I am looking forward to it running out so I can plant something in it.
