Spring feels really just around the corner so I have got going and dug out most of the beds, I need to finish raking out the grass and then fill them in with compost. You like my new shed? Simon was brilliant at putting it together. It still has an orange eyebrow though as the gables haven’t been painted yet. We are both really happy with the colour.
Simon also put together the bench you can see there. I have since painted it white but it seems too dazzling. I’m thinking a layer of a darker shade of blue than we painted the shed.
The fact that we have a community garden just over the fence is very motivating. Every day I lean out of the window to try and see what they are up to. Maybe I should get some binoculars! The real fixed deadline is that we want to have a housewarming party in the summer and the garden needs to be ready for that.
