Coney Island

    We walked from Brighton Beach to Coney Island on an amazingly bleak and dark looking day. It was like being a couple of decades away from Manhattan rather than 45 minutes away on the F train. It was a nice break from the crowdedness of the city and such an unusual place.

The New York Rangers at Madison Square Garden

The UN

We visited International territory. The building surprised me in how retro 1940s-50s it still was inside, I guess they are spending their money on more important things than re-doing the linoleum and bakelite! The place had that thrill feeling of being somewhere that history still is being made versus what a lot of tourist sites [...]
