resolutions

Yippee 2009! I am looking forward to so many fun things this year. Hopefully we will be doing some travelling with Paris, Berlin, Ireland, and (fingers crossed) Japan all on the cards as a possibility! But even without travelling far I am looking forward to all sorts of fun day-to-day things such as another year growing things in our garden, and all the interesting things that each season brings. Thank you everyone for reading and I hope to have some interesting things to share over the coming year.

As for resolutions…

I have some fuzzy general ones to do with improving the day-to-day such as:
- Make sure to eat dinner properly every day at the table without the radio or TV no matter how busy we are.
- Go outside on my lunch break. I work without natural daylight so I think it is essential for my mood to get some real light on my face at some point in the day. It is good thinking time too.
- Make a packed lunch to take to work as often as possible as it is much nicer and cheaper.
- Try to listen more to other people. So many people have interesting things to talk about.

Creative resolutions:
- My main all-year resolution is about photography. I am going to step-up my photographic experiments a little more. I aim to focus myself with monthly themes. It is quite easy to get stuck in routines of taking the same sorts of pictures over and over. I will still be taking my other pictures as I go about my day-to-day life but I shall try to also spend some time each day focusing on my theme.
- Something fun and a little smaller just for January is that I would like to make 4 things for me to wear this month, I am not sure what as yet. Might be something small like a badge or something bigger like a piece of clothing.
