I was more concentrating on the green and garden area but on my way back through to the road I took a few pictures of architectural bits and pieces that caught my eye. The little weird owl baby gargoyle in the last picture is one of my favourites, this college has some funny and weird ones. Also you see in the top picture the round thing above the lantern? That is a CCTV camera right over the main entrance. Not an original feature from 550 years ago ;) It is good that they try to blend it in!
A side note if anyone else was thinking of visiting: it is £4/3 to get in or free under certain criteria such as if you have a Bodleian Card like I do.

Hi,
These are so beautiful! I can feel its long history.
The CCTV camera is very smart, too. I didn’t notice it until I read through your writing.
I wonder if those icons like the owl have some religious meanings?
Wowww! Where is this amazing place?
Ah thank you :) It is Magdalen College, Oxford, UK.
Yes I don’t know what meanings the gargoyles have, some of them are pretty freaky! :)
