Sunday Morning

Gardenbroom

I took this picture early this morning when I was outside sweeping. The broom I inherited from my grandmother. Yesterday I planted out my tomato plants, courgettes, dahlias, and some climbing French beans that I got from my friend John. I collected them from his allotment. It is quite a tempting idea to get an allotment, however it is a lot of work and at the moment I feel I have enough to be doing in our own garden, maybe another year :)

We share an allotment with my grandfather (known as grandpa’s garden). I will admit that its a lot of work but every summer it amazes me how much food it produces.
