walking through the Barbican

When we were in London we walked through the Barbican Centre. It is an interesting place. Built in the 1970s it is a big arts centre with housing as part of the site. I wonder what it is like to live there? This person seems to like it.

    Oh, it’s so nice to see these pics. I used to work near the Barbican, and passed it most days. I always thought it would be a lovely place to live. In fact, I did consider buying a flat there myself a few years ago, and was struck by how well designed they are. But it wasn’t to be.

    looks like a very unique building complex – thanks for sharing! i like the fact that there’s so much greenery – it is almost like hanging gardens on the last photo.
