by the Havel River in the Grunewald Forest

We had dinner with my family on a boat that is moored on the Havel River at the edge of the forest. It was lovely to look out as the sun set over the water and the hearty German food was pretty great too. I had Matjes Filets which is a herring dish. After dinner we went for a walk by the edge of the river as it was getting dark. So quiet and peaceful.

    this photo series is so lovely.
    that first shot is beautiful. the red glow of the light and the bits of red in the details. just wonderful! such a nice composition.
