We had a powercut yesterday that lasted all evening so I entertained myself part of the time taking pictures of the kitties. I think they are teenagers now? Maybe you can see their different personalities in the pictures. Ira loves to lounge around and to be stroked and carried. She is not very good at jumping up on things. She gets more scared of strangers. Beep is the other way, completely athletic, leaping from place to place. She is also really friendly and likes to come and find us and get involved in anything we are doing. She likes to sleep ON us purring if we sit down for a moment.
So far owning cats has been even better than I could have imagined. They are two crazy little dudes :)

Kitties! Fluff! Paws! Ears! I love it all. I can totally see their different personalities in the pictures. Kitties only get more interesting and beloved the older they get, so enjoy :)

mooncalf – There are two blankets all mixed up together – I can’t take credit for either of them. The many coloured one is actually from IKEA and the brown-red-green I have had since I was a baby. The cats seem to love sitting on wool.
They are so big already. And there’s something about cat paws (we call them feet at my house) that’s magical.
They are adorable!! And so photogenic.

does ira actually have the black spot (hair) on her leg or did someone drop ink on her leg? kidding.
Apparently it is really rare to have a ginger lady cat, maybe the black dot of fur is what makes it possible as it means she is not quite 100% ginger? :)
