We discovered that Sligo has absolutely loads of beautiful clean empty beaches and coves. Really dramatic sandy shores with not another person in sight. We went to the beach every day and really got the cobwebs blown out of our heads.

I can’t wait to go back!

It looks really really really wild and beautiful, Alice. I’m glad to hear you had a good time there. (I remember talking to someone from Sligo… Which musician is from there?)

I wonder if I could find anywhere there are no signs or billboards (or a person) like that in Japan.

These are so beautiful! I particularly like the close up of the sandy beach and the wave coming in. Looks like such a calm place..

I am nowhere near Sligo, so it will have to be Crissy Field… I am inspired–off to the beach!

Those pictures are gorgeous! I love how you really captured the mood and feel of the ocean. I really want to visit Ireland one day, especially since it is a big piece of my ancestry.
