I am glad you like Freshness Burger too, I wasn't sure if it was a bit silly going to a burger joint with all the good more traditional food on offer, but it seems that everyone likes it. Soo good burgers :)

Thanks very much, yes I too found it hard to find pure vegetarian food. I normally eat mainly vegetarian with some fish sometimes but in Japan it had to be a 99% fishy diet.

I love the photo of little girl in the kimono, beautiful.
And the Mount Fuji in sunset.

I see we did some of the same things when in Tokyo.

I went to Roppongi Hills for example and took photos through the telescopes (a personal favourite), but at night. Those photos got a funny but quite nice texture,. I really enjoyed the exhibition in the museum as well.
I miss the Japanese museums, they are so much bigger than the Stockholm ones.

As a non-fish eating vegetarian who doesn't read or speak Japanese, Freshness tofu burger was a life saver.
I still remember the taste. Yum!

I also went to Big Camera, Kiddy Land, Nippori Fabric Town, Tokyo Metropolitan Museum of Photography and Tokyo Hands. I really liked the museum - although I enjoyed The Museum of Contemporary Art Tokyo even more - especially the restaurant. It was so beautiful, and the food unexpectedly Northern Europe.

I wish we had a Stockholm branch of Tokyo Hands. I still use some of the stuff I got from there.

I'm really enjoying your Tokyo pics!

Lovely photos!
And thanks for sharing that list of places, there are a few I haven't been to yet, so I'll give it a try next time I'll be in Tokyo (next year, hopefully).

Btw, it's デパ地下 depachika, coming from "department store" and "chika" which means "underground". ^__^

Great photos! I especially love the first of the water shots.

A few things:

- I thought that Culture Day was celebrated because it's MY birthday, not some emperor's. (I kid.)
- Did you happen to run into Brad Pitt while you were at Kiddy Land? I think he was here shopping there around the same time as you.
- I agree. Daikanyama, Ebisu, and Nakameguro areas are really nice to hang around.
- Glad to hear your great-aunt is healthy and doing well in her 90s! Amazing. I wanna know what her diet is!
- Speaking of which, no photos of the food you ate in Tokyo!? :-)
