Show & tell: bags

A brief pause in the snow pictures. I wanted to show some recent lucky finds.

bag1

This is the Larch bag by Valhalla Brooklyn. I thought as I was 30 it was about time I found a proper bag :) I had been looking for a squishy large-but-not-too-large bag that would age well for ages. It’s made really well and the leather is beautiful! So glad to have found THE bag at last and I am pleased it is handmade. One of my most useful Etsy purchases.

bag2

This is my current favourite shopping bag. It’s a Rilakkuma tote from Tokyu Hands, makes me smile. I keep it folded in my main bag until needed.

bag3

If it is raining really hard on my bike home I put the first bag inside this bag to keep it from getting too soaked.

bag4

I had been keeping my eye out for carpet bags on ebay and this kilim briefcase was about £15 including postage on ebay. I use it as my laptop bag.

bag5

I’m not sure it would be suitable for a really serious meeting :)

Ok, wow, the Valhalla Brooklyn bag is gorgeous – I’ve been after a bag from there for AGES! Your photo shows it off beautifully and now I want one even more. I need a grownup bag too. Hmm….I’m tempted! The others are lovely too – prettiest laptop bag ever, for sure.

The bag is great, really it is out of the price range that I normally operate in but I had some birthday money to spend :)

Oh, yes, that is a beautiful bag. Simple enough, elegant, and feminine.

The other two are cute as well, though.

    Lovely bags, thanks for sharing!
I have the same problem with my laptop bag and often ask myself whether it is suitable for more serious work-related things. Though I always manage to convince myself it is. Paul was given it at a web conference he went to in 2008 and it has quite a ‘jolly’ logo on the side, I immediatly adopted it and like it too much to ever leave it behind :)

I have bag envy for sure! The leather handbag is gorgeous, a really lovely rich brown shade, should go with everything. And your carpet bag was a real find – such a bargain at £15!!!! I recon it would be fine for a serious meeting :)
