1. I grew some roses and now I get to pick them :)
2. Space Invaders ice cubes, I got the tray for them from Bristol Guild. The glass is Aranzi Aronzo and I bought it from their shop in Tokyo [Google street view]. Longtime visitors to this site might also remember the Lego ice tray, it is still going strong.

oh my goodness my son (14) would go crazy for Lego ice cubes! How fun!
I like fun ice cubes – provides entertainment and zero calories ;)
Your roses are gorgeous!
Thanks! I am pretty pleased they are growing ok as it is my first time growing roses :)
Ah, yes, the Lego ice cubes! They were what first brought me to your blog. I even tried buying a tray (I was living in London then), but for some reason the Lego website wouldn’t take my credit card. I also thought of getting a space invaders one, but I got fish-shaped ones instead! I like to make cubes out of colorful juice extract, then when I want juice I’ll pour water over the colorful fish in a glass, it’s like they’re swimming :)
(Judging by the size of my comment, maybe I should get a blog of my own, hehehe)
You should get a blog! :) I want fish shaped ones now too..
Ha! I love the ice cubes. Our new little apartment only has freezer room enough for…novelty ice cubes! I shall use this as inspiration to purchase some as a treat for my boy this weekend!
And, oh, to have a garden!
I think novelty ice cube are great as everyone needs ice right? So why not make them interesting :)
