1. The shade of big trees is the best kind of shade.
2. A nice meal at Edamame again. We went to their excellent sushi night. It’s quite reasonable and the only decent Japanese food that I know of in this region (anyone got any other suggestions?). It’s not open every day and you always have to queue and share a table with others, but it’s worth it.

Thanks for sharing this again Alice, it’s given me perfect inspiration of where to take Paul for his Birthday this weekend. I was struggling to think of a restaurant that was a bit different, in central Oxford, that we haven’t been to before. He is a big fan of sushi and will love this. Looking at the menu first, there are lots of nice vegetarian options for me too :)

Glad to be of help! Make sure that you get there in plenty of time as you will no doubt have to queue. I hope thet you enjoy it and get good things to eat. Be sure to check out their specials which will be pinned up on the wall :)

Also I hope that you won’t mind maybe being on a table with strangers, they really pack people in :)

We had a walk down on Thursday, thinking about going for Sushi, but we were a little bit late and there was quite a queue at around 7 o’clock (Paul doesn’t get home until gone 6). So, we went back leaving plenty of time for lunch on Saturday and actually managed to get the window table at the front :) I had the veggie tofu yakisoba which was delicious – and such a generous helping too! I love the little miss-matched bowls they have, and the beer glasses – what lovely touches – everything felt so authentic. An overall fantastic experience (I can see why you like it so much) – we are planning to finish work early one Thursday soon so that we can witness the Sushi – I bet it is amazing!
