We sold our house! We are so happy :) A move has been a long time coming, some folks might remember that a year ago we were trying to build an eco house and how it almost happened but then did not work out because there was an obscure covenant that needed paying off. That land was then sold, and we put our other little house on the market, and this time around we’ve been looking for a place to buy rather than build. A young couple bought our house and the whole sale went through very quickly. I hope they are very happy there, it is a lovely first home. We have also found a place to buy, we get the keys at the start of August, can’t wait! In the meantime we are staying with my dad which is really nice, it is so peaceful. The cats seem to be slowly adjusting to the move too, we covered his sofas in our blankets, partly to protect them but also so there would be familiar smells for the cats.

wow how exciting! I totally want to move – to a house – which I can’t afford – so I am trying to patient. .. I love our apartment and I am trying to tell myself that I have plenty of time to save money and look for the perfect house, but I. Am. So. Impatient!!
Can’t wait to see the new place!
Congratulations!
I hope that you are able to get a house soon, it is so hard and annoying to wait isn’t it? In the city it is so expensive, I imagine it is the same in Copenhagen. Our new place is quite run down at the moment, hopefully we can make it nice quickly! :)
Congratulations! How exciting!
Thank you :)
that sounds like a great adventure. i’m coming off a recent move myself. so much to learn and do in this new space. we have two kitties and they were pretty good sports about the whole thing. well, not the 9 hour truck ride but neither was i.
I am glad that your cats are doing ok! I hope that our two will do ok moving from my dad’s to their permanent home :)
Yay!How thrilling! I am sure your new home will just be as great! I moved into my first new house almost 2 years, although we have been here, there are still lots of work to do, although it will be a fun process so I hope yours will be too :)
Thank you! I hope it will be fun :)
