6. IPAD!! I have been loaned one and I love it. It’s my kind of gadget! I like to read lots of visual type sites about photography/design/cookery/art/gardening etc and this is perfect for that, much better than a computer. For the first time I am almost caught up with my RSS subscriptions. I am using the ‘Perfect RSS’ app which caches your feeds so you can read when not on a WIFI connection. My dilemma is about a case, there are so many ugly and expensive ones. The roll of fabric is there because I am trying to decide if I should make one.
7. Dinner at my mother’s house. Always nice! For dessert I brought over ice cream and made these brownie roll-out cookies dusted with a little bit of icing sugar. Tasty and I thought they were nicest the next day.
8. Pub. A crowd of us saying goodbye to a friend going back to Australia.

I noticed when skimming the pictures I had taken recently that whenever I sit down I always have my bracelet in front of me and my sunglasses. The sunglasses I lost in Seattle were no longer available so a few months back I bought the Rayban Honey New Wayfarers.
See :) We were discussing taking the train to Berlin next year sometime and looking at maps. My suggestion of cycling didn’t go down well.
Went to this poetry / music / visuals event yesterday as a friend who is also a talented video guy was showing some work he’d made for this, his stuff is really cool. It was an interesting evening and I was also very impressed by the poet Caroline Bird.
I’m getting a huge backlog of photographs lately so I might have to post a little bit more than my usual 3x a week for a short bit.

A few random things from the past week. I thought that record sleeve was interesting. Went to an enjoyable gig, ODC Drumline and Coloureds at MAO. I’ve been saying goodbye to some of my favourite lunchtime walks as soon I’ll be working elsewhere.

I bought a few rolls of Kodak Portra 400 VC for the Lomo LC-A and I thought I’d give one a try as I was going about my daily business, here are some of the pictures.

From yesterday.
Day: The weather has broken here, there was a light rain at about 4:30pm when I cycled home. I stopped to look at the park.
Night: This is the bar at a local music venue. It was a good night. I was there to see Shrag.
