I put the night first because I like that picture better. Two pictures from this weekend. The night picture is of a kebab van at around midnight as I was heading home. The second picture is at the carnival that happens in the area that I live.
At the carnival we set ourselves the challenge of counting how many people we would see that we knew. The rule was we had to know who they were properly i.e. must know their name not just people we know vaguely, ‘friend of friends’ didn’t count. We estimated we would see 50 which wasn’t bad as the final count was 53! That is a lot of hellos. It’s what happens when you live in one place for a while I guess? There were also a lot of people who didn’t make it on the list as I couldn’t remember their names :I

The top picture is not really the sort of thing that I usually post but I thought it was interesting because this sort of scene is common late into the night outside nightclubs and pubs now because of the smoking ban. I took this at about 1am as I was heading home, the streets were really thronging with people smoking all dressed up and sitting on the roadside.
The other is my breakfast. The correct application of food is important after late nights I think :)

Went to see Turbowolf and Blood Red Shoes, both were excellent. Those wildflowers are at my work, they have left an area under a tree to go a bit wilder.
