Yesterday I was taking a shortcut and found this heart shaped rose petal. The other petals on the ground were not heart shaped, only this one. I tucked it into my diary and today it was dried out. So I stuck it onto a blank card, painted a white border, and gave it to my mother as her birthday card.

Christmas seems like such old news now but this was the Christmas card I sent out this year. It was my first go at Gocco. I drew it by hand and then scanned it in and isolated the two seperate elements (what would be black and what would be white). Then printed these two different images off, photocopied these, then burned two screens.

Stringing some buttons on craft wire.

Threading some ribbon through the button circle.

Poke this through a card and I have a rather mad-looking get-well card for my sister with a decoration that can be used later if wanted.

I hope, if they come out ok, that these will be my Christmas cards. This is halfway done; I have another colour to add on top.

I also had this thought… Christmas bunting? I am trying to decide if it is right or wrong.
