A few random things from the past week. I thought that record sleeve was interesting. Went to an enjoyable gig, ODC Drumline and Coloureds at MAO. I’ve been saying goodbye to some of my favourite lunchtime walks as soon I’ll be working elsewhere.

Weekend at home

It’s good to have a weekend at home to catch up on chores, hang out with the kitties, go to music events and birthday parties, and eat a healing Sunday bowl of ramen :)

At the weekend I was at a small rehearsal studio out in the countryside to play bass, a friend was recording. Later in the afternoon a lorry arrived for the room next door and it was Supergrass for a rehearsal before their final tour. They had an impressive amount of gear. The studio is on the sight of an old pick-your-own farm so there are empty green houses and old fruit trees.

nights and days

Went to see Turbowolf and Blood Red Shoes, both were excellent. Those wildflowers are at my work, they have left an area under a tree to go a bit wilder.

Thanks to everyone who has asked a question so far! I will leave it open for a week and address them then :)
