Portland wasn’t what I’d been expecting, I think somehow I had it in my mind that it would be smaller? Lots of cool stuff going on! We stayed at the Ace Hotel. Visited Powell’s and many many record shops. Ate and drank in Clyde Common, had a fantastic breakfast sandwich from Bunk Sandwiches, and of course tried Stumptown Coffee. The two big highlights of the visit were the Japanese Garden and seeing Battles at the Doug Fir Lounge.
